tired

 

carry me, Lord,

I am so tired.

I want with all my heart

to follow after you,

to love and serve

and walk the narrow path,

but I don’t know

if I can take another step.

help me, Holy Spirit,

to lay down my pride.

replace “I have to be able to do this”

with “I trust God to provide.”

I’m exhausted and I see no end,

carry me, Jesus,

be my friend.
